Limited Edition experiences from Anthology

Welcome to the Limited Edition series

Welcome to the Limited Edition series

At Anthology we rely on our guest feedback and take your recommendations seriously. This helps us to develop new and interesting experiences for travellers to enjoy. Some of these experiences are adhoc, depending on the time of year and the people involved. We have called them our Limited Edition series.

Our recent announcement that the Bay of Fires Lodge will remain open year-round stimulated plenty of discussion about the many different activities that could be enjoyed at the Lodge between walking seasons. As a result, we are pleased to offer two special interest weekends this May at Bay of Fires Lodge - both weekends are very different with the common ground being that they embrace the unique location of the Lodge. As a keen photographer myself, I am especially delighted that one of Australia's leading landscape photographers, Grenville Turner, has agreed to lead our first photography weekend. I admit to being very jealous of the lucky participants.

In our January newsletter we asked if anyone would be interested in shorter guided walking tours that take in a portion of Tasmania's spectacular Overland Track. Similarly, this idea sparked plenty of comment and ideas. And here they are - we have set six departures for October 2009 offering three day and four day itineraries. I did the Overland Track last October and was thrilled by the stunning scenery that the changing seasons bring out - from snow covered high country to sun drenched button grass plains and raging waterfalls.

There are also plans afoot for special events at Wilpena Pound Resort mid-year, perfectly timed for the completion of the resort renovation. So, we will stay in touch as new experiences are added to Anthology's Limited Edition series.

Best wishes,
