Bay of Fires Lodge open year round

Since it opened in 2000, Bay of Fires Lodge has only been accessible to guests on the four day Bay of Fires Walk and then it would close in the non-walking season (from May until October).

In 2009 for the first time, the Lodge will be available for bookings during the walking off-season period. This provides a unique venue for small groups of family and friends, as well as opportunities for corporate getaways and special events. With only ten rooms the Bay of Fires Lodge can accommodate 20 people ensuring an intimate experience for all guests. Arrangements can be made for exclusive use, subject to availability.

The Bay of Fires is featured in the “Top 10 Regions” category in Lonely Planet’s Best in Travel 2009, an annual book profiling travel recommendations for the year ahead. So it is appropriate that from May 2009, the award-winning Bay of Fires Lodge will be opened year round.

Priced at $450 per person, per day including accommodation, all meals and non-alcoholic beverages, an allocation of Tassie wines at dinner, and your guides for kayaking and hiking.
