Welcome |

The changing season has brought with it some spectacular autumn colours in Tasmania. Quamby Estate is home to many grand old English trees and right now they are putting on a show of colours that is a photographers dream. The newly restored guest rooms in the Homestead offer luxurious accommodation with warm fires and a delicious Tassie menu. This is a perfect time to plan that indulgent winter escape. Mother Nature is also putting on quite a show in South Australia at the moment, as water continues to flow into Lake Eyre. We are operating scenic flights from Wilpena Pound Resort over Lake Eyre and the reports back from our pilots and guests have been extraordinary. This rare phenomenon is a must see. Our walking season in Tasmania has now ended. It’s been a good year with some truly inspiring feedback from our guests. A common theme is that people return feeling refreshed and rejuvenated despite the physical effort in taking the walk. It seems that in these times of economic crisis and global uncertainty that an escape from the city and total immersion in the wilderness can be a truly regenerating experience. Tourism Tasmania has used the line “souls repaired while walking” in their advertising. Perhaps that’s true? In preparation for next season, which starts 1 October, we have a special early bird offer for anyone who books before 30 June. Read about this and all the latest news from Anthology below. Best wishes, Grant Hunt < Back |
