Bay of Fires

Pay your deposit before 30 June 2009 and receive a free night at the newly restored Quamby Estate which can be used either the night before your walk or the night after you return. As the walking base is located at Quamby Estate, this luxury accommodation is the ideal place to stay.

The Bay of Fires Walk is one of Australia’s most famous walks. This iconic four-day adventure in northern Tasmania allows visitors to experience some of Australia’s most distinctive flora and fauna in one of the most picturesque places on earth during the day and to settle back with a wonderful meal and a great glass of Tasmanian wine each night.

The Bay of Fires Lodge is as famous as the walk itself. Guests spend their second and third night on the walk at the Lodge which has won a host of architectural awards and is one of the most environmentally sensitive tourism structures ever built.

Often rated as one of the top walks in the world, the Cradle Mountain Huts walk is a six day, five night walking experience following the famous Overland Track through the pristine World Heritage wilderness of the Cradle Mountain – Lake St. Clair National Park in northern Tasmania.  It takes in the highest mountain in Tasmania, Mt Ossa and the deepest lake, Lake St. Clair.  It also features a huge diversity of geology, flora and fauna including glacial lakes, rainforests, craggy peaks, buttongrass plains and alpine meadows.
