
Each year Conde Nast Traveller announces the coolest new hotels worldwide in their highly reputable Hot List. This year the list includes 60 hotels from 29 different countries. We are pleased to advise that Wildman Wilderness Lodge has been included in the Hot List 2012, announced in the May edition of the magazine.
According to Conde Nast the final selection for this year's Hot List was chosen from hundreds of recommendations from their correspondents worldwide. Three hotels from Australia made the list - Wildman Wilderness Lodge, Mona Pavilions in Hobart and The Darling in Sydney.
Last month acclaimed landscape phtographer, Grenville Turner hosted a 5 day photography tour at Wildman Wilderness Lodge. The group gained valuable skills and instruction from a master photographer in spectacular surrounds. The itinerary featured a 4wd tour of Kakadu National Park, air boat safaru over the Mary River Wetlands, scenic helicopter flight and Home Billabong cruise. This amazinng experience will be available again in November 2012.

The Australian tourism industry has bestowed one of its highest honours - Outstanding Contribution by an Individual - on Grant Hunt, founder and Chairman of Anthology. The announcement was made at the Qantas Australian Tourism Awards ceremony in Cairns on Friday night, 2 March.

Prestigious UK magazine Tatler has listed Wildman Wilderness Lodge as one of the top 101 hotels worldwide in their 2012 Travel Guide. We are delighted to be included in the Guide, described by Tatler's editor as "a big hunky selection of our favourite holidays". Eight hotels from Australia made the list including Lizard and Hayman Islands, Deux Belettes, Makepeace Island, Blue Mountain Private Safaris, the Lake House in Victoria and Tasmania's fabulous new Mona Pavilions. Last night at the Northern Territory Tourism Awards in Alice Springs Wildman Wilderness Lodge was awarded Best New Tourism Development in 2011. Congratulations to the team at Wildman.
