Our story

The Anthology story began some time back with our CEO and founder, Grant Hunt.

Waterfall at Cradle Mountian, TasmaniaBuilding on over 10 years of extensive knowledge with Voyages, a benchmark travel company specialising in the development of hotels and resorts in remote wilderness locations, Grant has a clear understanding about working in sensitive Australian landscapes.

He is passionate about connecting remarkable Australian places – wilderness, outback, heritage – with the dreams and desires of travellers to this country.
Anthology is all about that dream becoming a reality.

Bay of Fires Beach We currently have four products in the collection, Bay of Fires and Cradle Mountain Huts Walks and heritage house, Quamby – coincidentally all in the beautiful state of Tasmania – and most recently the spectacularly located Wilpena Pound Resort in South Australia. We are committed to adding new chapters to this tale and will look to have at least 10 or 12 distinctive Australian experiences to offer travellers.

Each experience will have its own personality and style and will leave an indelible memory in the traveller’s mind.  But these points of difference will be joined by unbreakable cords of quality, professionalism, premium service, friendly and knowledgeable staff  and most importantly a passion to do the right thing by the communities and the environments in which we operate.

Grant is renowned for pioneering critical auditing and reporting systems for the travel industry.  At Anthology he will now be able to take this one step further and build a company from the earth up that has a vision to only do the very best possible thing by the land and its people.

We look forward to sharing our story with you and to having you add the next chapters to our chronicle as you come and experience Anthology and develop your own Travellers Tales.
