My son and i took part in the Bay of Fires walk on the 19th of jan 2009.We were at first hesitant as my son who is 23 has a vision impairment which requires him to mobilise with assistance of a white cane and we were unsure whether he would be able to negotiate the many Headlands heath and bush which make up a large part of the walk.We need not have been concerned.The guides for tour Aaron,Dominic,and Hannah provided unending support,patience and knowledge of the environment and should be congratulated on their efforts.We were also fortunate that our fellow walkers were a happy and supportive bunch and i am sure that we have made some great friends.
